Danielle Nagymarosi of Manhattanville College Named ECAC Women's East Player of the Week Presented By Turfer Athletic

Player of the Week

Danielle Nagymarosi, Manhattanville College
Junior, Forward - Uxbridge, Ontario/RIT

Nagymarosi netted two goals and an assist, including the game-winning goal Friday against Castleton. On Saturday, against #4 Elmira, Nagymarosi scored a power play goal.    

Goalie of the Week

Andrea Berlin, Saint Anselm College
Senior - Durham, N.H./Oyster River

Berlin made 25 saves for her fourth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over UMass Boston

Rookie of the Week

Amanda Shorey, University of Southern Maine
Forward - Ayer, Mass./Lunenberg/Ayer

Shorey was involved in all three USM goals in the Huskies' 3-0 win over Norwich. The rookie had the game-winning goal and assisted on two later goals. She currently leads the team in scoring with 7 goals and 4 assists for 11 points.

Honor Roll

Arianna Rigano, Saint Anselm College
Sophomore, Forward - Malden, Mass./Austin Prep

Rigano picked up two goals and a pair of assists in two wins for the Hawks (a 2-0 win over UMass Boston and 7-1 over MIT).

Cindy Fortin, Norwich University
Freshman, Goalie - Quebec City, Quebec/John Abbott College

Fortin stopped all 25 shots that she faced en route to her third shutout of the season in NU's 2-0 win at New England College on Saturday, making 12 stops in the third period to preserve the victory. The rookie gave up three goals in the Cadets' 3-0 loss at Southern Maine on Friday night.

Chelsea Fillingim, Saint Anselm College
Freshman, Forward - Fairbanks, Alaska/North American Hockey Academy

Fillingim, in the 7-1 win over UMass Boston, registered three assists.
