Nichols' Roberts Picks Up Player of the Week Award

Matt Roberts-Nichols
Junior, Forward, Merrimac, Mass./New England Huskies

Roberts recorded five points on three goals and a pair of assists
in two conference wins for the Bison this week. The three goals-
one on the power play, one short-handed and one game-winner, marked
the first on the season for Roberts. He recorded four points
against Johnson & Wales Wednesday with two goals and two
assists, notching an unassisted, short-handed score and assisting
the game-winner. He added the game-winning goal on the power-play
at Suffolk on Saturday.

Freshman, Perrysburg, Ohio/Queen City Steam
Recorded a shutout in his collegiate debut, making 22 saves in the
Wildcats 5-0 victory against Western New England on Saturday
night.
Jake Rosenthal-Becker
Sophomore, Goalie, Wantagh, N.Y.
Rosenthal posted his second shutout of the season in a 2-0 win
over Salve Regina. With the game scoreless until halfway through
the third period, Rosenthal shutdown the Seahawks offense with 25
saves.
Rookie of the Week
Zach Kohn-Nichols
Forward, Hartland, Wis./New England Falcons (EJHL)
Kohn got back to business this week with six points on a pair of
goals and four assists in two conference wins for the Bison. He had
two goals and two assists, including the game-winning tally,
against Johnson & Wales Wednesday. He then added a pair of
assists in the win at Suffolk Saturday. His 2.00 points per game
average leads the league and ranks second among all players
nationally.
Honor Roll
Craig Houle-Johnson & Wales
Junior, Forward, Burrillville, R.I./Portland Pirates
Houle tallied three goals and added three assists in the Wildcats
1-1 week. In the 5-0 win over Western New England, he scored
two goals, including the game-winner, and added two assists for the
Wildcats.
Jason Pietrasiak-Johnson & Wales
Freshman, Forward, Shrewsbury, Mass,/Northern Mass
Cyclones
Scored two goals and added two assists in JWU's 5-0 victory
against Western New England on Saturday evening.
Zachary Cardella-Curry
Senior, Goalie, Spokane, Wash./Trailsmoke (BCHL)
Cardella earned the win in net over the #1 seed in the ECAC
Northeast and 13th nationally ranked Wentworth. Cardella
allowed just two goals and made 28 saves.
Steven Mohler-Curry
Sophomore, Forward, Anaheim, Calif./Springfield Jr. Blues
(NAHL)
In a 2-0 week for the Colonels, Mohler scored a goal and an assist
in each game for four total points (2G, 2A).
