Suffolk's Niles Moore Earns Player of the Week Award

Niles Moore-Suffolk
Senior, Forward, Columbus, Ohio/Bay State (EJHL)
Moore scored three goals over the two game Codfish Bowl Tournament
including Tuesday's game-winner in a 4-3 win over Southern New
Hampshire. Moore was named to the Codfish Bowl All-Tournament team.
Goalie of the Week
Jeff Rose-Suffolk
Junior, Collinsville, Conn./Valley (EJHL)
Rose was named Codfish Bowl Tournament MVP after stopping 52 shots
in Wedensday's 2-1 victory over UMass Boston. Rose stopped 83 of 87
shots faced in the two games.
Rookie of the Week
Jason Pietrasiak-Johnson & Wales
Forward, Shrewsbury, Mass./Northern Mass Cyclones
(AJHL)
The rookie scored a hat-trick, including the game-winner with just
:20 left in the game, to give the Wildcats a 5-4 victory against
Saint Anselm on Sunday afternoon. Pietrasiak also scored the
game-winner in the teams 6-4 win over Southern New Hampshire to
take third-place at the Codfish Bowl Tournament.
Honor Roll
Andrew Flynn-Suffolk
Freshman, Forward, Stamford, Conn./Berkshire School
Flynn scored the game-winning goal in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over
UMass Boston. Flynn scored the goal with :02 seconds remaining in
the second period as the Rams won their first ever Codfish Bowl
title.
Anthony Principato-Wentworth
Freshman, Forward, Holmdel, N.J./Bay State (EJHL)
Playing in his first two games for the Leopards, Principato scored
two goals and assisted on two others in a 6-3 win over St.
Michael's to salvage a split at the Saint Michael's Holiday
Classic.
Zach Kohn-Nichols
Freshman, Forward, Hartland, Wis./New England Junior Falcons
(EJHL)
Kohn had a goal and two assists in a pair of games at the Bison
Hockey Classic last weekend to extend his point streak to 11 games.
He netted a power-play goal in a tie against Saint Mary's on
Saturday, and followed with a pair of assists in an overtime win
against Lebanon Valley in the consolation game. Saint Mary's had
advanced to the championship game in a shootout Saturday.
