Nichol's Sayer Picks Up Player of the Week Award

Matt Sayer-Nichols
Junior, Forward, Lowell, Mass./New England Huskies

Sayer led the Bison in a pair of conference wins with five goals
and two assists for seven points. He had a hat trick and an assist
in Wednesday's win vs. WNEC, and followed with a pair of goals and
an assist Saturday against Salve Regina, netting the game-winner
with less than two minutes left in the game to cap the Bison's
comeback.
Goalie of the Week
Steven Jakiel-Curry
Senior, Santa Clarita, Calif./Univ. Of Michigan
Jakiel earned two wins this week improving his overall record to
8-2-0. He made 16 saves in a 3-2 win over Johnson & Wales
and 18 saves against Becker College. Both wins were against ECAC
Northeast opponents.
Rookie of the Week
Danny Greiner-Nichols
Forward, Columbus, Ohio/Port Hope Predators (OJHL)
Greiner scored two power play goals and added three assists for
five points to help the Bison extend their win streak to five games
this week with a pair of wins. He had a goal and two assists
against WNEC on Wednesday, and followed with a goal and an assist -
both with the man advantage, and both to knot up the game - against
Salve Regina Saturday.
Honor Roll
Michael Jarboe-Wentworth
Freshman, Goalie, Grosse Point Park, Mich./Marquette
(NAHL)
Jarboe backboned the Leopards to a pair of league wins, as he had
a 1.63 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. In a
10-3 win over Salve Regina, he made 20 saves on 22 shots in just
over 50 minutes of action and finished his week stopping 11 of 12
shots in a 3-1 win over Western New England.
Max Carter-Johnson & Wales
Freshman, Forward, Royal Oak, Mich./Northern Mass
Cyclones
Carter scored two goals in the 3-2 setback against Curry and
played solid defense in the teams 4-2 victory against Suffolk on
Saturday.
Jeff Olitch-Wentworth
Senior, Forward, Calgary, Alberta/Helena (NAHL)
In a 3-0 week for the Leopards, Olitch had two goals and four
assists for six points. He assisted on four of Wentworth's 10
goals in a 10-3 win over Salve Regina and scored two goals - the
game-tying and game-winning markers - in a 3-1 win over Western New
England. He moved into fourth place on Wentworth's all-time
goals list and sixth place on the all-time points list
John Williams-Curry
Sophomore, Forward, Flourtown, Penn./Quesnel Millionaires
(BCHL)
In a 2-1 week for the Colonels, Williams had five total points. He
had two assists against Babson, one assist against Johnson &
Wales and two goals against Becker.
