Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Northeast Division III All-Conference teams for the 2008-09 season. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year.

Senior forward Jeff Hazelwood (Dublin, California/St. Norbert's College) of Curry College earned Player of the Year in the ECAC Northeast. Hazelwood finished the regular season with 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points which placed him third in the league in scoring. Robert Vorse (Leominster, Massachusetts/Bay State Breakers) was voted Goalie of the Year, compiling a .936 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average in Northeast league play.  Skylur Jameson (Long Beach, California/Wichita Falls, NAHL) of Wentworth Institute of Technology received Rookie of the Year honors after finishing second in the ECAC Northeast in scoring with 35 points on 12 goals and 23 assists.

Lou Izzi was voted Coach of the Year after leading Nichols College to a 16-1-0 conference record for first in the standings and the ECAC Northeast Season Title.  

Joining Hazelwood, Jameson and Vorse on the All-ECAC Northeast First Team is Jeff Olitch (Calgary, Alberta/Helena,NAHL) a forward from Wentworth. The defensemen for the All-ECAC Northeast First Team are Nichols Cole Ruwe (Pekin, Illinois/Peoria Mustangs, CSHL) and Jeff Beiber (Littleton, Colorado/Cincinnati Cobras, CSHL).
