Coursen Schneider of Franklin Pierce University Named ECAC Northeast Player of the Week Presented By Turfer Athletic

Player of the Week

Coursen Schneider, Franklin Pierce University
Junior, Forward - Stony Point, N.Y./Avon Old Farms

Schneider scored three goals and added three assists for six points as the Ravens went 2-0 last week. Returning to the ice after missing the last eight games, the junior winger scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 4-3 win over Worcester State on Wednesday. Schneider then potted a goal and recorded a career-high three helpers in a 8-4 win over Assumption on Saturday night.

Goalie of the Week

Justin Marriott , Wentworth Institute of Technology
Sophomore - St. Clair Shores, Mich./Valley (EJHL)

Marriott had an impressive week as the Leopards went 2-0. Playing all 120 minutes he was 2-0 with a .950 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average. In Wentworth's 5-3 win over Stonehill he turned aside 46 of the 49 shots he faced-the fourth time this season he has made 40 or more saves and followed it up with a 30-save performance in a 3-1 win at Plymouth State. Included in his 30 saves was the stopping of a second-period penalty shot in a then 2-0 game.

Rookie of the Week

Jeff Rose, Suffolk University
Goalie -
Collinsville, Conn.

Rose posted a 1-1 mark with a 1.47 GAA and a .959 saves percentage in pair of outings for the Rams, including stopping 31 of 32 shots in 3-1 victory at UMass Dartmouth. The freshman made 39 saves in a game for fifth time this season in 2-1 overtime setback at Stonehill.

Honor Roll

Zeke Costello, Nichols College
Sophomore, Forward - Shelby Township, Mich./Traverse City North Stars

Costello scored the game-winning goal early in the third period against Becker on Friday. He also assisted on Nichols' second goal of the game and had two assists in a near upset against Curry on Saturday.

Pat Enloe, Salve Regina University
Freshman, Goalie - Stuart, Fla./Avon Old Farms

Enloe, in his lone game of the week, made 31 saves in a 4-2 victory over Southern New Hampshire. Both of the goals came in the first period - one on the power play - as Enloe blanked Southern New Hampshire over the final two periods.

Mike Manna, Stonehill College
Freshman, Goalie - Framingham, Mass./Xaverian 

Manna started all three games last week for the Skyhawks. He improved his personal record to 5-2, leading Stonehill to two wins over WNEC and Suffolk. Manna registered save totals of 35, 33, and 26. He is tied for the Conference's lead in Goals Against Average (2.00).  He leads the NE-10 in Save Percentage (.940).
