Jeff Grant of UMass Dartmouth Named ECAC Northeast Player of the Week Presented By Turfer Athletic

Prep
Grant, the Corsair's leading forward, led UMD to important ECAC Northeast wins over Wentworth (5-3) and Framingham (7-2) notching five goals and adding three helpers for eight points. In the rematch of last season's championship game vs Wentworth, Grant had a second period natural hat trick while totaling four goals (all power play tallies) and assisting on the fifth UMD score. In the Framingham win Grant had a goal and two assists for three points. Grant is first in the conference with eight power play goals, tied for first with three game winnning goals, and is third in the Northeast with 14 goals. Last season's scoring leader and ECAC Northeast/New England Hockey Writers All Star, Grant now has 65 goals and 68 assists for 133 career points in 103 games.
Goalie of the Week
Keith Fink, Nichols College
Junior - Easton, Md./Collingwood Blues
Fink picked up two wins last week to improve to 14-5-1 on the year. In a 5-0 win at Assumption, he stopped all 13 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season. In a 2-1 overtime win against Suffolk, Fink made 26 saves.

Yuel, in a 2-0 week for the Colonels, had five
points. He had one assist against Worcester State and had
one goal and a season high four assists for five points against
Johnson & Wales.
Honor Roll
Stephen Schofield, Fitchburg State College

Breakers
Schofield netted four goals and dished out three helpers to pace the Falcons to a 1-0-1 week. Schofield began the week with a pair of goals in a road win over Johnson & Wales and capped the week with two goals and three helpers in 5-5 tie with Plymouth State.
Jared Kersner, Becker College
Sophomore, Forward - Rockville, Md./NJ

Kersner netted a natural hat trick to lift Becker to a 5-2 ECAC Northeast ice hockey victory over Suffolk. It was the first hat trick for the Hawks who are in just their second season, first in the ECAC Northeast. Kersner gave the Hawks the lead on three occasions in the contest, as his power play marker 3:52 into the game staked Becker to an early 1-0 advantage. Kersner gave the Hawks a 2-1 cushion 8:41 into the middle stanza with a shorthanded goal and completed his hat trick and gave Becker the lead for good with just two seconds remaining in the middle frame. Kersner is tied for the team lead with 22 points.
Pat Enloe, Salve Regina University

Enloe made 26 saves in 58:30 in net for a 4-3 win over Western New England College on Saturday.
Will Munson, Nichols College
Freshman, Forward - Corona,

Munson tallied three points on the week off two goals and one assist. He scored Nichols' first goal against Suffolk and also had a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win at Assumption.
