Kyle Cook of Suffolk University Named ECAC Northeast Player of the Week

Player of the Week

Kyle Cook, Suffolk University
Junior, Forward - Chino Hills, Calif.

Cook netted four goals and five assists for nine points in 2-1 week for the Rams, including a pair of goals and two helpers in 6-2 victory over Stonehill. He Added two goals and three assists during the UBS Paine Webber Classic, including a goal and two assists in 8-4 consolation round win over Worcester State.

Goalie of the Week

Devan McConnell, Fitchburg State College
Senior - Lake Stevens, Wash./St. Louis Jr. Blues

The senior tri-captain was named the UBS Classic MVP for the second straight season after allowing just one goal in two games. In a 3-0 week for FSC, McConnell recorded a shutout victory over Assumption in the championship game of the UBS and allowed just one goal in wins over WNEC and Worcester State. He has turned away 68 of the 70 shots he's faced for a minuscule 0.67 GAA and a .971 save percentage thus far this season.

Rookie of the Week

John Goffredo, Fitchburg State College
Forward - Washingtonville, N.Y./Boston Harbor Wolves

Goffredo netted three goals and dished out four helpers in a 3-0 week for the Falcons in which they collected their fourth straight UBS Faceoff Classic title. Goffredo had four points in the two tourney games.

Honor Roll

Ryan Jacobs, Johnson and Wales University
Senior, Forward - Derby, Vt./Laconia Leafs

Jacobs scored a hat-trick and added an assist in the Wildcats impressive 7-1 victory against Framingham State in an ECAC Northeast contest on Wednesday.  Jacobs also scored a goal in the team's 3-2 setback against previously nationally-ranked Utica on Saturday.

Tim Dancey, Suffolk University
Senior, Forward - Anaheim, Calif.

Dancey netted five goals and three assists for eight points in 2-1 week for the Rams, including a hat trick and an assist in a 8-4 consolation round victory over Worcester State at UBS Paine Webber Classic. He added a goal and two assists in season-opening 6-2 win over Stonehill.

Jeff Green, UMass Dartmouth
Junior, Goalie - Medway, Mass./Valley JR Warriors (EJHL)

Green turned aside 24 shots in recording his seventh career shutout in the 5-0 season opener versus Becker College. Green was immense in the second period turning aside two breakaways while notching an assist on the Corsairs second goal.
