Player of the Week

Kevin Willer-Elmira
Sophomore, Forward, Toronto, Ontario/North York Rangers (OPJHL)
Willer earned 6 points in two straight wins for Elmira College. Willer had a standout game against SUNY Potsdam by scoring a hat-trick and earning two assists on the night.  On Saturday against SUNY Cortland, Willer earned an assist on the game winning goal.  Willer has 20 points on the season including 8 goals and 12 assists.

Goalie of the Week

Darren McDonald-Elmira
Freshman, Stittsville, Ontario/Nepean Raiders (CJHL)
McDonald played in his second game of his collegiate career on Saturday against the Dragons of SUNY Cortland.  He posted a shutout win by making 16 saves in 60 minutes of action.  He owns a 1-1-0 record on the season.

Rookie of the Week

Mark Morikawa-Elmira
Forward, Redondo Beach, Calif./Alberni Valley Bulldogs (BCHL) 
Morikawa played a stellar game against SUNY Potsdam Friday night.  He scored the opening goal of the game in the first period which ignited an EC offense to 10 goals on the night.  He also picked up an assist on the second goal of the night. 

Honor Roll

Chris Cannizzaro-Hobart
Freshman, Forward, Syracuse, N.Y./Cazenovia
Cannizzaro tallied a goal and an assist to lead Hobart vs. #14 Wentworth. He scored the first goal of the game on a power play in the eighth minute, giving the Statesmen an early 1-0 lead. In the second period he assisted on Hobart's second goal, which evened the game at 2-all. Cannizzaro leads the team in goals (10) and points (20). He ranks second in the ECAC West in freshman scoring, is fourth in both power-play points (11) and power-play goals (5), and ranks fifth in the league in goals.

Daniel Dempsey-Lebanon Valley
Freshman, Forward, Norwell, Mass./Boston AAA Rangers
Freshman Daniel Dempsey turned in a six-goal, one-assist week in three games for Lebanon Valley. He had his first career hat trick Tuesday at Cortland, including a short-hander,  then scored twice with an assist against Brockport Friday night before tallying against vs. Brockport on Saturday. Dempsey leads LVC with eight goals this season.
