Player of the Week

Kyle Casey, Neumann College
Junior, Forward - Stratford, Ontario/Stratford  Cullitions (MWOJHL)

Casey scored three goals including two on the power play and added one assist. The junior played a major role in helping the Nights win the 1st Rutland Herald Invitational Tournament in Rutland, Vermont. Casey was named to the Rutland Herald Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Goalie of the Week

Sergiy Sorokolat, Manhattanville College
Freshman, Goalie - Kharkiv, Ukraine/South Kent (Conn.) School

Sorokolat won for the second time this season, making a career-high 33 saves in Manhattanville's 3-1 win Sunday over Williams. The freshman stopped 15 shots in the first period to keep the Valiants within striking distance, and made nine third period saves to preserve the win. Sorokolat is the Valiants' leader in saves (98) and minutes (243:31) this season while splitting time with senior Paul Reimer.

Rookie of the Week

Victor Nordenson, Manhattanville College
Forward - Stockholm, Sweden/Alaska Avalanche (NAHL)

Nordenson scored the first goal of his collegiate career Sunday at Williams, icing a 3-1 Manhattanville victory with less than three minutes remaining. Nordenson becomes the first Valiant freshman to score a goal this season, doing so in his fourth game.

Honor Roll

Kevin Maresco, Manhattanville College
Junior, Forward - Lynnfield, Mass./UMass Amherst

Maresco had the first two-goal game of his three-year collegiate career Sunday at Williams, leading the Valiants back from an early deficit to defeat the Ephs 3-1. 

Bryce Dale, Utica College 
Junior, Forward - Fresno, Calif./Williams Lake (BCHL)

Dale tallied two assists' in the Pioneer's 3-2 overtime loss to Williams College on Saturday night.  Dale leads the team with eight points on three goals and five assists. 

Mark Van Vliet, Neumann College
Senior, Forward - Dorchester, Ontario/Quinnipiac

Van Vliet collected two power play goals and two assists.  The senior played a major role in helping the Nights win the 1st Rutland Herald Invitational Tournament in Rutland, Vermont, he was also named to the Rutland Herald Invitational All-Tournament Team.
