Castleton's Bolduc Named Player of the Week

Player of the Week
Kirk Bolduc-Castleton
Senior, Forward, Lewiston, Maine/Cleveland (CSHL)
Bolduc tallied one goal and five assists for a six points in a
2-0-0 weekend for Castleton. Bolduc was vital to the Spartans'
offense on Friday night in an 8-1 win against Southern Maine
assisting on the first two goals including the game winner. In the
second period, the senior assistant captain notched his seventh
goal of the season at 16:32 and added another assist. On Saturday,
Bolduc handed out two assists in a 9-1 win over the University of
New England.
Goalie of the Week
Zeke Testa-Babson
Freshman, Wellesley, Mass./Berkshire School
Testa went 2-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .970 save
percentage in a 2-0 weekend for the Beavers. On Friday night, he
stopped 30 shots and allowed just one goal in a 4-1 win at New
England College. Then on Saturday, Testa turned away 34 of 35 shots
on net to lead Babson to a 2-1 overtime win at Saint Anselm.
Rookie of the Week
Dan Bell-Castleton
Forward, Victoria, British Columbia/Panthers (VIJHL)
Bell was instrumental to Castleton's 2-0-0 weekend recording six
points for the Spartans. On Friday in an 8-1 win over Southern
Maine, Bell tallied an assist on Kirk Bolduc's goal at 16:32 of the
second period. On Saturday, Bell led Castleton to a 9-1 win versus
the University of New England scoring five points in the contest.
Bell dished out four assists and scored his second goal of the
season, on the power play, at 8:15 of the second period.
Honor Roll
Arthur Hollinger-Castleton
Freshman, Goalie, Homer Glen, Ill./El Paso (WSHL)
Hollinger led Castleton to a 2-0-0 weekend including a perfect
2-0-0 record against ECAC East conference opponents totaling 42
saves in two games played. On Friday, Hollinger paced the Spartans
to an 8-1 win over Southern Maine stopping 22 shots. Against the
University of New England on Saturday, the freshman goaltender made
20 saves in a 9-1 victory.
Ryan Klingensmith-Norwich
Senior, Goalie, Morton, Pa./Philadelphia Flyers (MJHL)
Klingensmith made 23 saves in Norwich's 3-1 victory over Middlebury
on Friday evening. He also stopped 14 shots in the Cadets' 2-1 loss
at Williams on Saturday afternoon.
Brendan Cottam-Skidmore
Freshman, Forward, Belmont, Mass./Lawrence Academy
Cottam scored two goals and had an assist in two games, including a
goal and an assist in a 3-3 tie with Southern Maine.
Michael DeVita-Saint Anselm
Sophomore, Forward, Annandale, N.J./Cushing Academy
DeVita scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an
assist in the Hawks' 5-1 defeat of UMass-Boston on Friday
night. He then assisted the Hawks' only goal on Saturday
against Babson for a four-point weekend.
