Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Men's East All-Conference teams for the 2009-10 season, presented by Combat Sports. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year.

Junior forward Coleman Noonan (Norfolk, Mass./Catholic Memorial) earned Player of the Year. Noonan scored 14 goals and added 14 helpers to lead all league scorers with 28 points. Noonan led the Hawks to their best league finish in program history, locking up second place with a 9-9-1 league record. Ryan Klingensmith (Morton, Pa./Philadelphia Flyers, MJHL) of Norwich was voted Goalie of the Year, compiling a .918 save percentage and a 15-1-2 record in league play.  Norwich forward Kyle Thomas (Waltham, Mass./South Shore Kings, EJHL) received Rookie of the Year honors. Thomas tallied 18 points in league play, scoring 12 goals and adding 6 assists.

Mike McShane, who is in his 14th season behind the Norwich University bench was named Coach of the Year. McShane led the Cadets to 16 league wins and the ECAC Men's East regular season title.

Joining Noonan and Klingensmith on the All-ECAC East First Team are forwards Blake Forkey (Boca Raton, Fla./Avon Old Farms) of Norwich, and Chad Anderson (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia/Weyburn, SJHL) of Norwich. The All-ECAC First Team defensemen are Southern Maine's Paul Conter (Woodbridge, Ontario/Oakville) and Eric Tallent (Garland, Texas/Weyburn Redwings, SJHL) from Norwich University.
