Norwich's Rick Cleaver Earns ECAC Men's East Player of the Week Presented by Turfer Athletic

Rick Cleaver, Norwich University

Cleaver led Norwich to another 2-0-0 weekend with three goals and two assists. He scored a goal and added an assist in NU's 6-2 victory over Saint Anselm on Friday. he added two goals and one assist in the Cadet's 5-4 win over New England College. He currntly leads the team in goals (20) and points (34).
Goalie of the Week
Skylar Nipps, Babson College
Junior - Orlando, Fla./St. Paul's School
Nipps played all 125 minutes in a 1-0-1 weekend for the Beavers, recording 45 saves on 49 shots for a 1.92 goals against average and .918 save percentage. He stopped 17 shots and allowed just one goal in a 1-1 overtime tie with Castleton on Friday night, and then came back with 28 saves on 31 shots in a 6-3 victory over Skidmore on Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Alex Mykolenko, Skidmore College
Freshman, Forward - Kharkiv, Ukraine/Northwood
School
Mykolenko scored two goals and had an assist in a 5-3 road win over UMass Boston and scored his team-high 11th goal of the season against Babson.

University
Bilton averaged 30 saves a game over a 1-1-0 week for the Purple
Knights. He also stopped 19 shots in the second period along
against New England College as part of 34 saves on the night.
Alex Higgins, Saint Michael's College
Sophomore, Forward - Phoeniz, Ariz./Kent
School
Higgins scored three points on two goals and one assist in a 7-3
come-from-behind win over Saint Anselm College. Higgins scored the
equalizer as part of a seven-goal third period to overcome a 0-3
deficit heading into the third period.

Freshman, Forward - Abington, Pa./Philadelphia Little
Flyers
The freshman netted a pair of goals for two points in two games over the weekend. The forward scored a power play goal versus Skidmore on February 1 and netted another power play goal versus Castleton the next day.
