Cleaver scored two goals and handed out three assists in Norwich's 1-1 weekend versus Southern Maine and Salem State. The senior scored twice in NU's victory over Salem State on Saturday.

Baia led the Pilgrims to a tie and a win over the first weekend of the season. In Friday night's game against Castleton, Baia stopped 25 of 26 shots and on Saturday afternoon he posted his first career shutout stopping all 19 shots in the 3-0 win over Skidmore. Baia improved his career record to 14-5-2 and lowered his GAA to 2.51.

Conter, a rookie blue-liner, had an impressive start picking up a goal and two assists in the Huskies' 8-3 win over Norwich and two goals in a 4-0 shutout of Saint Michael's.

Romeo tallied a goal and an assist in a pair of ECAC East contests this weekend. In a 1-1 tie with New England College Romeo tied the score five minutes after the Pilgrims took a 1-0 lead.
Jamie Gilbert, University of Southern Maine
Junior, Goalie - Lewiston, Maine/UMass
Amherst
Gilbert, in his debut for the Huskies, stopped all 18 shots he
faced to post a 4-0 shutout over Saint Michael's College. Gilbert,
who transferred to USM from the University of Massachusetts
Amherst, was seeing his first game action since the 2004-05
season.
Sylvain Messier, Norwich University
Freshman, Defense - St. Hyacinthe,
Quebec/Longueuil
Messier scored a pair of power play goals, one in each game. The freshman netted the game-winner versus Salem State on Saturday.
