SUNY-Cortland wins 2012 ECAC Division III Women’s Gymnastics Championship
Ithaca, NY. – SUNY-Cortland with a total score of 189.1 captured the 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women’s Gymnastics Championships at Ithaca College’s Hill Center in Ithaca, New York on Saturday. SUNY-Brockport finished second with a team score of 187.6 and Ithaca College rounded out the top 3 with a team score of 186.176.

The Hill Center is named after Laurence S. Hill, who served as Ithaca’s Dean of Physical Education from 1929 to 1957. It houses the 2,600 capacity Ben Light Gymnasium which has hosted three ECAC Gymnastics Championships (1990, 2001 and 2004). The facility also served as host to the 1996 and 2002 National Collegiate Gymnastics (NCGA) Championship.
