The IC4A and ECAC Division I Cross Country races took place Saturday, November 6 at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx of New York, with over 80 teams competing.  Six races took place throughout the morning, with over 700 collegiate runners from across the country.  The race marked the 102nd running of the IC4A and the ECAC Race’s 26th year.

 

ECAC Championship Race

 

In the ECAC Women’s Championship Race, James Madison University took the team title with a score of 47.  William and Mary took second with a 79, and LaSalle University took third scoring 90.  James Madison was led by four runners that placed within the top fifteen, including overall individual champion Alison Parris (17:27.4).  George Mason’s Laura Sinclair (17:33.7) took second place, and Katie Matthews (17:37.2) of Boston University finished third.

IC4A Championship Race

 

Duke University defended last year’s title in the IC4A Championship Race with the top overall team score of 44.  Duquesne finished second with a score of 141, while Harvard and Central Connecticut State tied for third with 147 each.  The overall individual Champion was Christian Gonzalez (24:52.7) of Rider University, followed by Craig Hunt (25:02.1) of CCSU and Mike Moverman (25:03.5) of Duke.

ECAC University Race

 

In the ECAC University Race, the University of Albany won the overall team title with a score of 49, as all seven of their runners finishing in the top 25.  Monmouth University finished second with a score of 99, and Towson finished third with a score of 104.  Kimberly DeLoreto (18:01.6) of Sacred Heart took the overall individual championship, with Kiersten Anderson (18:10.3) of Marist College finishing second and Albany’s Ada Lauterbach (18:21.6) taking third.

IC4A University Race

 

In the IC4A University Race, Temple University took the overall team title with three of the top six runners and a score of 111.  UConn finished second with a score of 115, and Fordham finished third with a score of 130.  Mike May (25:24.8) of Temple University took the overall individual championship, with Tobias Lundgren (25:27.8) of Manhattan College finishing second and Rutgers Nick Mlehe (25:31.2) taking third.
